This was a much more professional group than the last Rotary group I spoke to. It was very encouraging. One of the fellows there is the district head for international projects, he represents all of the Rotary Clubs in the Western States (and I think some in Canada , also) He is going to let the the clubs know about our ability to get projects done in Vietnam, then the individual clubs can work with us to sponsor a projects....water projects are really being pushed by Rotary, worldwide. A local Rotary that was in attendance today, is going to propose to their club that they sponsor a project, with talk of doing one a year. The are going to make the proposal to their club on July 20. Several other good contacts were made.... it was a very positive meeting. I am meeting with a representative of the the Sacramento Rotary on July 17. They have already discussed building several projects....we'll see. Speaking of Sacramento, where the heck has Dalin been? Thank for your fishing story, that was excellent writing...submit to a outdoor magazine. That was very well done. My scooterin' buddy, Rick, is totally addicted to fly fishing. As a ski coach, he has a lot of time in the summer to fish, and boy does he. He just got back from two weeks in Montana and is about to head for Idaho for a couple more... I have to be careful following him too closely on the scoot when we are riding a a road along river....he may be riding a motorcycle, but he's looking for fish rising in the river. Makes for some very strange lines through the turns..
