I wouldn't award the debates to Kerry just yet. I just read an article (The Atlantic)on the upcoming debates, and they don't. Bush has faced a lot of "superior" debaters, and come out on top. He does this by preparing heavily, and lowering expectations before the debate. You expect him to get slaughtered as an inarticulate moron, and when he does OK, he seems like a genius underdog. That said, Kerry has won every debate he's ever been in. One guy in the article said he was the best debater to ever come out of Yale. He's been preparing his whole life to be President.

If Kerry wanted to pick the VP candidate who would help him beat junior by the greatest margin I think Edwards was the right pick. Personally I would have preferred to see Edwards as Attorney General and either Bidden or Gephart as VP. No matter what happens in the debates the bushites will declare victory in them. They and the media have set the bar so low for junior he gets away with being a complete idiot in most of what he says and does. If there is another attack before election day it will be bin Laden's way of rewarding junior for the miserable job he has done in trying to catch him. I think Kerry should get this word out to the public in case bin Laden does decide to reward junior by attacking.
