Patricia. You said...." He lied about his reasons for going into Iraq so he could entice more men and women to fight for his cause..............Saddam and Bin Ladin had no connection.".......

Wrong. IMO Bush did not lie, mistaken maybe, faulty intelligence maybe but lie...get serious. What do you think gore would have done under the same circumstances? or kerry for that matter?

Prove that bin laden had no connection with sadam? You could have said maybe no connection or no proof of any connection but you and many others just blurt out....NO CONNECTION. So prove what you say, you can't because you don't know.

You are not alone in not understanding that this war against radical islam is not just against bin laden and his gang of killers. Radical islam originated in the ME but it is not ONLY in the mid East or confined to the bin laden murderers. Wake up, IMO Bush is/was correct in confronting radical islam in their countries. He was correct in flushing these brutes out into the open where they can be killed. He was correct in forcing change within the muslim world and not allowing them to quietly become even more powerful by appeasing them for the next ten or twenty years like what had been done up to 9/11.

If your guy gets in the White House you better hope he figures out some way to rid planet Earth of even more radical islam killers than what Bush is doing.

The attack on Iraq in the middle of muslim land was IMO the correct thing to do. Now islam has to choose sides within their own backwards religion.

And IMO you and many others are wrong for using the war against radical islam as a political tool to further your goals of getting your guy in the White House.

In Afghanistan we are securing not just Bin Laden, but all those who continue to resist the freedom the people in fact quite properly desire. I judge that we are not wasting our efforts in Afghanistan with the sort of Overkill I believe your statements imply. Iraq? In keeping with Lorne's prior response, virtually everyone believed and stated the same things Bush stated, and it is certainly wholly baseless to call any of them - a group which in irrefutable fact includes Kerry himself - liars.

In trying to deal with reports that Zarqauwi was long essentially Al Qaeda's ambassador to Iraq, and had met with Saddam, you can only say, to my knowledge, that you don't believe it. Swell. The fact that an airplane fusalage existed in a terrorist training camp without a runway, and reports came prior to 911(as I recall it) that Saudi's were training there, leads you only to say something to the effect that "it's not well enough confirmed." The fact that you can find it written as early as 1999 that it was too bad Saddam was developing ties to Osama just leaves you, to my knowledge, pretending it didn't happen and everyone was lying even then. The fact that Bill Clinton essentially agreed with Bush upon entering our into action against Iraq, is apparantly completely dismissed by you, to my knowledge.

The fact that at least two extremist training camps were operating in Iraq in recent years, without refutation, tells me our action in Iraq was anything but folly.

Al Qaeda has been hurt by our actions, and to think Al Qaeda exists around the world but not in Iraq, is niave. I suspect it is completely fair to say you are niave if you don't strongly suspect Saddam may well have had forknowledge of the events which took place on 911.

Kerry swears now that we are there, he'd like to finish it right. But is it seems to me if he fails to get the extra international support he claims he'll seek, he may never finish it right. In actuality, Bush has alread achieved getting extra support to finish it right, so Kerry could scarcely improve upon that at this point.

Heck, the fight against these extremist louts is proceeding appropriately, IMO (not that I wouldn't have advised doing things a little differently - barring considerations I may know nothing about at this point).
