Where does it say that? Did you get that from some mainstream paper? What I am wondering is, did they buy up seats in a showing- and sell them to members (the way churches did for Passion)- OR did they actually buy the movie the way a theatre would, and show it themselves. I always like to know the mechanism for what happens.

Of course I'm glad the NEA did that. The more people who see the film the better, imo. I occasionally disagree with the NEA- but I'm 100% behind this decision.
