Ann, there is a terrific picture of Edwards on the front of today's NY Times.
Edwards, his wife, Elizabeth, and their two adorable kids--Jack and
Emma Claire--are in the shot.

I think Kerry will relax a little bit now that he has a VP running mate.
Kerry-Edwards may be the dream team. Think about it.

cheers,

Like George Bush other Americans might have sat complacently
in their seats after they learned that two planes had struck the twin towers in
New York City, but I believe a true leader would have gotten out of his
chair and phoned a few people to see what was going on. - Mephisto

The following is an excerpt:

"For the White House, the most devastating segment of
"Fahrenheit 9/11" may be the video of a befuddled-looking President Bush
staying put for nearly seven minutes at a Florida elementary school
on the morning of Sept. 11, continuing to read a copy of "My Pet Goat" to
schoolchildren even after an aide has told him that a second plane
has struck the twin towers. Mr. Bush's slow, hesitant reaction to the
disastrous news has never been a secret. But seeing the actual footage,
with the minutes ticking by, may prove more damaging to the White
House than all the statistics in the world. "

That John Kerry, all substance says,"We've got better hair"......................

CLEVELAND (AP) - An upbeat John Kerry campaigned for the first time with running mate John Edwards on Wednesday and boasted that the Democratic team has a "better vision, better ideas" than its Republican counterpart - and joked, "we've got better hair."
