I guess they just can't recognize grey. Or perhaps they're bigots hinding behind the anti-PC flag.

The ones who committed the acts are certainly bigots; their defenders were a mixed sort. Most found themselves, my view, caught in a logical trap. They had refused to see there were shades of gray in their attack on what they termed PC language; so found themselves unable to make distinctions on the back side.

As I've read about most of the campus events that became cases the right wished to hang the anti PC stuff around, the cases were either grossly misstated in the right wing press or were in no way indicative of the ongoing flow of events.
