We are not talking about 1991, we are talking about why we invaded in 2003. But to humor you, Iraq, even in 1991, was clearly no Germany- as it had been crippled economically by its long war with Iran- and if you recall, the reason for taking over Kuwait was partly economics (slant drilling by Kuwait- remember?). And do you remember the Israelis blowing up the Iraqi reactor?-(-yeah- that's some undeterred power Iraq had)

You can pretend Iraq was like Germany if you want, but it doesn't make it so, and you really can't present anything to justify the invasion of 2003 even if you think he was a teeny bit dangerous to the US in 1991- which I think is far from established.
