John, The truth is not relevant. Take for example the IRR callup: The Pentagon is being forced to recall to active service as many as 5,600 army veterans to fill a shortfall of troops needed to pursue President George Bush's "war on terror". The troops will be sent to Iraq and Afghanistan. Rand Beers, a foreign policy speaker for the Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry, said: "The fact is that this involuntary call-up is a direct result of the administration's diplomatic failure to get real international help in Iraq." What recent war was 'done right' - the Gulf War under the elder Bush. In that war lot of foreign troops participated. It was a diplomatic triumph and only 20,227 IRR Troops were activated for the 1991 Gulf war. :-) John
