yes, looks like your wish comes true in due time. It begins to look like a replay of 1998 when the stock indices began to fall only days after a rate hike.

And also yahoo, back then, traded at 170 (up from 100 in a few months) and did the swan dive after the June quarter earnings.

The volatilities are up now and this is also reflected in the price of puts, a bit. People now buy insurance.
