Tom Ridge just used a no-details Homeland Security scare to interrupt the Kerry-Edwards celebration tour. This was also done a few weeks ago by Ashcroft just as Bush was getting bad press. Again, no details, no new intel and law enforcement was furious. Obviously, Bush is using every tool in his arsenal including scare tactics designed to make people nervous and not want to change presidents. Apparently, Bush sees the polls which show him behind Kerry in every category but "counter terror". So expect more of these no-info scare tactics. I'll bet there's one right in the middle of Kerry's convention.
