What you describe is happening much more in other Islamic nations than Iraq, funded by Saudis. I don't think we should invade them either. The whole strategery of fighting a popular pan-arab movement militarily is ridiculous, and just plays into the Islamists hands. We prove their point by doing as they say and behaving as they predict. The Bush administration isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. The military hammer doesn't fit the terrorist nail, but it makes nationalistic Americans feel good, albeit at a greivous price, in blood and money.
