GW botched Iraq. In hindsight, it's obvious.

I don't think it's accurate to describe America as polarized between Democrats and Republicans, or between liberals and conservatives. It's polarized between the people who believe George Bush and the people who do not. Thanks to some contested ballots in a state governed by the president's brother, a once-proud country has been delivered into the hands of liars, thugs, bullies, fanatics and thieves. The world pities or despises us, even as it fears us. What this election will test is the power of money and media to fool us, to obscure the truth and alter the obvious, to hide a great crime against the public trust under a blood-soaked flag. The most lavishly funded, most cynical, most sophisticated political campaign in human history will be out trolling for fools. I pray to God it doesn't catch you.

Re: "Do you agree that the manner in which Bush went about taking out Saddam was botched. He was asked to get the job done. A;; supported him. Even Kerry and Clinton. But he botched it."

Hello...we got Saddam...and we are already rebuilding Iraq to the cheers of plainly very grateful people.

Re: "he told us that Saddam was part of terrorism since he was connected with Al Qaeda. We ask, where is the proof?"

A zillion reports of such, none of which absolutely prove a thing. That's all you got. Bush offers a whole mess of reports of such. Reports from prior to 911 said that an airplane existed in a terrorist training camp without a runway in Iraq, with Saudis present in training. So an American Co. called Space Imagin Inc., looked at its storehouse of photos after 911 and found, lo and behold, a photo of an airplane at the very claimed location. Yup, proves nothing, absolutely. But there it is.

Re: "There is a breakdown of law and order."

You are so short-sighted, you can't even see the now historic return of law and order in Iraq, for the trees of terrorism.

Re: "ends up handing sovereignty to a country at a time when there is a complete breakdown of law and order. Do you call that success?"

Obviously, by my above irrefutable reality, there is not a complete breakdown of law and order in Iraq.

Re: "he enters a country which had law and order, where many Iraqis went about their normal business"

If you think Iraq under Saddam represented law and order for the people, you'd have to think living under the demonstrated threat of mass death at the hands of your own government is a good way for governments to keep peace. Surely you don't believe that, now do you? Come on...NO NO NO please don't say/directly imply it again!
