We heard that reasoning on the run up to the war "the administration knows things the general public doesn't", it is just what they want you to believe. "Father Knows Best", reassuring to Republican foot soldiers.

The Bushies, for reasons not verified, have stonewalled the committee from the day of its proposal. The same excuse, or some variation, has been used...ie, "we can't divulge sensitive intelligence"....Bull! And BTW, Cheney, if given his choice, would keep every secret..... There are many examples of this.
