I have always felt that a requirement for a US Rep, Senator, or President and VP, should be they must have worked in a small (100 or less employees) company for a minimum of 5 years, and helped to make that company prosper. If they only have worked for the Government (any area), or in a large company with 500 or more employees, they have NO idea of how and what it takes to make business function, and the impact that high taxes have on employment or profits. Most people don't even know that a company is indeed working well if it makes 2-4% profit.
