The best part about the Metro contract is selling thousands
of readers to Metro. Since SAMSys is the only company that
has the proper readers ready to ship for european specs,
there isn't any option by the initial suppliers. No one
else has a reader for these SCM applications ready.
Yet 20 suppliers have to be shipping by November.

The multi-frequency aspect of SAMSys readers is just as
important to all larger companies who obtain product from
global sources. Look up the product flows and you see
that WalMart purchases over 50% of all its hard goods from
China. China has not set its frequencies and policies on
RFID yet. MF/MP UHF readers running Gen2 will be the
mainstream of the estimated 600+ million reader market for
2005. That's what SAMSys sells.

The key to their success has been forming good working
relationships with Microsoft, SATO, Philips, and Intermec.
They and IBM all have solid relationships together and
you'll notice most of them are on this team as well.
