The sad part about it, is that the poor Republican stooge, that votes against his economic self interest, never receives the promised social moral promises, made by the party. But then if they actually delivered, they would end losing the Republican of modest means.

Wow...that's a pretty loose definition, care to be more specific...??

I can see you've never noticed it, but both political parties have redistribution of wealth as their particular agendas, ie to support their constituents. Most recently, Bush got a huge tax cut that favored the rich. If the Dems get back in , look for benefits for the lower end of the income spectrum. What's so amazing to me is that ordinary middle income people, perhaps like yourself, delude themselves into believing that they are part of the republican upper class and will share in Republican largesse.
