Joe, One thing I wonder is the socialized medicine would allow trial lawyers to continue to plunder resources from it. Good point. When the quality of health care declines thanks to socialized medicine, who are the lawyers going to sue? The debt-ridden government? The doctors, who themselves are going to be making less money? Maybe the corporations who are contracted by the government to dole out the health care, but they obviously shouldn't be making a profit off of people's lives, right?
