Your points are well taken. I think the contrast between Edwards and Cheney at the debates will clarify the issues for undecided voters.

You can bet that the thrust will be that the Dem ticket is a silly choice because Edwards is simply too inexperienced to be Presidential should it become necessary, a thought that we simply must bring to the forefront in these dangerous days.

In fact, it seems to me that a terror event that would be in AQ's style would be to stage a suicide attack on W during the election campaign.

Cheney is loyal to a fault. If he makes the judgement bush cant or probably cant win with him, he will make the suggestion. His medical condition as it exists and the stress of the past four years should mitigate against Roves view that cheney leaving might indicate weakness. The democrats will shout that but most folks know all to well about stress. Mike
