That article doesn't say or prove anything. It's about as credible as those fake letters home Rumsfeld had the troops send to their local town newspapers at the beginning of the war, telling everyone the Iraqis love us and everything is hunky-dory.

The real problem with Iraq is in the current administration. The troops are doing great but the policy-makers stink. The decision making has been abyssmal until too-little/too late recently (copying Kerry because Bush was plummeting in the polls) and the preparations were inept. They also used massive lying campaigns to sell the war, abusing the post 9-11 fears to get the job done. Bush-Cheney have violated our trust. No amount of spin from the right can erase that fact. They really are worse than Watergate.

"The prisoners were compliant," he said. "There were never any runaway riots or uprisings. They could even raise complaints to the guards and we would investigate. At the same time they knew this is not a Holiday Inn, this is a prison."

Ummmmmmm .... have any of you guys stayed at a Holiday Inn lately ?

Just kidding.

lol
