Bill, old chap......before you get too froth with self-excitement go back and re-read my original post. Here, I'll make it easy for you....

<<Those attempting to assert that the White House called Iraq an imminent threat are ignoring significant information to the contrary.>>

This would be in total agreement with you....n'est-ce pas?!?!

<<Similarly, those who say the Bush administration never used the phrase or implied as much are ignoring important, though isolated, evidence.>>

This is still in agreement with your assertion but offering a caveat....note the use of the word "isolated". The article then goes on to offer some "isolated" examples.

"As a factual matter, conservatives are largely correct and liberal critics and journalists are guilty of cheap shots or lazy reporting."

On this matter the article is exactly right.....that is why I posted it. So, to summarize......I'm actually agreeing with your original assertion Bill but I'm pointing out to you that there is also another side to it. Because I post here with what would be considered a liberal view, you automatically read my posts with that in mind. The world is not just made up of whacky liberals and stodgy conservatives Bill. There are cross-over agreements in both political camps but you seem not to recognize that in others that you perceive as "lefties".

"Next time you post a link, try finding one that supports your position."

How about next time I post a link that you actually read it before you jump to conclusions! This article supports my position 100%.....it's your assumption of my position that is totally inaccurate. Don't worry, we all jump to conclusions in haste at times.

The last line of the article says it all beautifully....

<<Complexity is not an excuse for cheap shots from either side>>
