The use of mercenaries to do things that are blatantly criminal makes for good Hollywood material -- if Jack looks like Arnold S. and if he was properly marketed to the American people, there would be a groundswell of opinion on the right heralding him as a new kind of action hero in the "war on terror". Action Jack, our man in Iraq. It would be more acceptable than "Jack the Ripper", or "dirty deeds done dirt cheap". But it all comes down to the same stark reality -- contracting out to death squads and creating clandestine torture cells. Of course if Jack and similar actors are there just for sport then you simply have human scum seeking their preferred environment -- what are th odds that jack would go around abducting and torturing people just for fun?
