Bush made false promises to the Senate about Iraq. Made promises he went back on to get the centrists to support him. Kerry's vote on the war was conditional on Bush keeping his promises, these were to internationalize the effort, only invade as a last resort and be very well prepared for both pre and post invasion. Bush rushed in, lying as he went and betrayed us all. KLerry promised to hold Bush's feet to the fire if he went back on his promises. He has and now will be taking Bush's job as a result.
