Karen, But the Amish are benign, we can argue philosophically about lost potential, but really creationists, Amish and the like are pretty harmless (or at worst they only harm themselves). Now when a nut (espousing religious purpose) decides to bomb an abortion clinic, or a green (espousing environmentalism) bombs a factory - that’s different and needs police intervention. When a state commits such an act, it involves war. When a non-state transnational group does it? -> Well that’s the $64k question isn't it :-) John
