One gets lucky from time to time

We had this one young Canadian couple with a baby. He was a doctor doing a two year fellowship at Hopkins, so we knew up front that they'd only be there two years. They were such wonderful tenants. She liked to garden so I left her with a bunch of plants from my home garden, I came by a month later to see the backyard looking like a garden paradise. They were clean, polite, the neighbors loved them and they paid the rent early. The only down side was I had to endure my husband complaining every month when we'd get the rent check, "Why can't they staaaaay!?"
