Jewel, Laz never used the word, "sick." He merely made reference to a prescription for antibiotics. I attempted to point out that antibiotics are routinely prescribed for preventive measures.

Vasectomy and tubal ligation are elective procedures and, again, they are not foolproof birth control. Abortion in the case of our hypothetical patient seems, in retrospect, a medically sound and necessary procedure.

This discussion is NOT about abortion. It is about a physician who may or may not have given his patient information vital to her future health, and, if he did not, should he be held liable for his failure to do so. - Holly
