If you want to post an article form Salon, feel free to do so. Dismissing an argument because of who makes it is an example of the ad-hominem fallacy. In logic an argument isn't false based on who makes the argument it stands or falls on its own merits. I won't automatically assume something that Salon, or antiwar.org, or CNN, or the New York Times says is right. For that matter I would not assume something from National Review or Townhall.com or Fox News is right. I'm not telling you to assume that conservative sources are correct. I'm telling you not to automatically assume that any source is correct or incorrect.

It would be an ad hominem fallacy were my point unimportant to the argument. However, the right and its publications have a powerful agenda they want implemented. That powerful agenda translates into a bias that permeates everything they say or do. That bias is not irrelevant as it would have to be to satisfy the requirements of an ad hominem fallacy. Therefore, the ad hominem fallacy does not apply here.

In the future, I would prefer you link with articles from the mainstream press as I do.
