Ten,

re: The socialism part of it comes from the notion that government knows medicine better than the doctors themselves. Same thing with parenting, the free market, gun control, the environment, etc.

The judicial... checks and balances. Remember? Ane Joe want's to eliminate jury trials, to take the public out of the equation.

Ted, That's not socialism, dude; its good business.

The socialism part of it comes from the notion that government knows medicine better than the doctors themselves. Same thing with parenting, the free market, gun control, the environment, etc.

I have nothing against regulations which enforce a high standard of ethics and quality. But who controls the definition of those standards? Doctors or lawyers?

If all the doctors were doing a good job, there would be no need for lawyers. I can't remember the statistic but I think of the people receiving operations, either 5 or 10% end up with surgeon's tools inside them. I think ten percent of people in hospitals die from infections caused by poor cleanliness.

Medicine is like any other professions......there are some good MDs and some not so good ones. However, with medicine, the stakes are much higher.

My God what did they teach you in Cornell........how to spend a six figure income?

Well, yeah, considering the tuition ...

At least your honest...........
