Jewel, I am uncomfortable commenting on court cases. That said, I do know of one jury judgment for the mid nine figures. This decision was based on an undocumented twelve minutes during a cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

To my knowledge, the courts have pretty much gone along with Nurse Ratched. It is incumbent upon the medical professional to be able to prove what was done and when it was done. That is standard.

The same can be said of some in the genius IQ category. For purposes of self-protection, the physician can always seek a court order before rendering medical care. Court orders can be obtained fairly quickly, 24/7. - Holly
