I just saw a news piece on an Iraqi casualty, a National Guardsman from Oregon. The Governor there attends EVERY funeral. This guy had just returned from Iraq, had completed his SIX YEAR Guard obligation, when he was sent back in one of the "stop loss" orders, only to be killed by a roadside bomb. I feel very sad for all our soldiers in this wrongheaded war. It's just stupid to insert your country in the middle of another country's civil war.
