Kerry is nicely ahead of Bush but no one takes anything for granted. The Fox News polls are always skewed 5% + for Bush no matter what. ALways have been. Since the owner of Fox News has already endorsed Bush, his audience is alomopst all Bushies and he will fire anyone on his network staff who attacks Bush, I'd say that's a huge incentive to fudge polls. So they do.

All the top credible non-partisan polls show Kerry nicely ahead. ttp://www.realclearpolitics.com/bush_vs_kerry_hth.html
Take a look if you don't believe me. And these polls don't reflect the Edwards Effect which is just beginning. You yourself stress that Edwards attracts swing-voters by the millions.
