Here's another gun control statistic:

2000 Murder rate per 100,000 in VA = 5.7
2000 Murder rate per 100,000 in DC = 41.8

2000 Forcible Rape rate per 100,000 in VA = 22.8
2000 Forcible Rape rate per 100,000 in DC = 43.9

2000 Robbery rate per 100,000 in VA = 88.9
2000 Robbery rate per 100,000 in DC = 621.3

Its not the number of guns thats the problem. Its the culture.
