I am sincerely hoping that the American public isn't quite as stupid as assumed. Unfortunately, the American Public is dumber, lazier, more apathetic and more like sheeple than anyone could have believed. Apparently it's ok to lie, cheat and steal when it concerns boring things like the budget and healthcare but don't have interesting sexual exploits or you'll be hounded to death. We are this stupid. How in the world can the Iraqis (ducking for cover and generally unemployed) be expected to 'get' democracy when Americans barely do?
