You should get your history straight, so you can know who to blame.

I believe this previous post of mine will address your concerns, Clinton, Greenspan, Levitt, and Rubin fought the good fight in trying to head of these financial shenanigans before they ever began, when they supported the F.A.S.B.'s accounting reform efforts for several years (until a bi-partisan group of Fat Cat Senators and Representatives strangled the baby in it's crib).

Foremost among the 'Black Hats' that enabled the tools for bubble expansion, and accounting fraud, were Lieberman, Dodd, Breaux, DeLay, etc.
