I'll tell you what...I was stunned too. How's that? What could I do, either? What could the President do? Pretend he could set things in motion which are suppossed to take care of themselves? As has been noted, if he'd left the kids immediately and run off to "take action," you'd all say it was evidence that he pre-planned 9/11 purposefully, and knew what to do when everyone else was stunned and praying...wow, how curious would THAT have been to you? Don't lie, just pretend it happened that way, remember you would look to criticize the man, and tell me what you'd say to do so.

Surely too, you've forgotten he's testified he only expected it was an accident, as he read on to the children. Despite all the conspiracy theories, this is still likely the truth.

Re: "HE WAS AT THAT TIME NOT THE PRESIDENT... I THINK THERE IS A DISCERNABLE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE LEADER OF THE COUNTRY AND A ORDINARY SENATOR...."

Hey, Kerry said he couldn't think, so devasted was he by the news of 911, I gather. What, do you think if we stamp his forehead with "president" he'll suddenly be able to think?
