But no president is ever again going to fill a Court vacancy without first bringing in at least 60 Senators he can rely on. In the longer run, that's not such a bad thing. If the American people want to allow the bench to rule them like a king, they should be FORCED to move in a direction, or see a de-populated bench. The direction we ARE moving in indicates that, over the next 20 years, we will contract with the judiciary to demolish the entire Marxist/Leninist/Racist complex that the left spent decades building. That's ONE way to go-but we would be better served if Congress and the President did it. Congressional TERM LIMITS is still the BEST answer...
