I don't always agree with Coulter (I'm pro choice, for instance), but she does stick a well deserved fork into liberal puffery in many instances. And anyone who sends that nitwit AS into hysterics is OK in my book... :-)

Edit: And she's genuinely funny at times...

In one of Edwards' silver-tongued arguments to the jury on behalf of a girl born with cerebral palsy, he claimed he was channeling the unborn baby girl, Jennifer Campbell, who was speaking to the jurors through him:

"She said at 3, 'I'm fine.' She said at 4, 'I'm having a little trouble, but I'm doing OK.' Five, she said, 'I'm having problems.' At 5:30, she said, 'I need out.'"

Ya know, I'm quite good at keeping a poker face during
trial and not showing reaction to either devastating
opposing evidence or laughing at claims that are raised.

But I'll tell you, if I ever had an opponent start
doing that channeling schtick during closing
arguments, I'm not so sure that I could
entirely maintain.

Well, I could suppress a belly laugh.

They must make 'em pretty dumb in the Carolinas........

That cerebral palsy/trial info could be more of a bombshell against Edwards than was Janet Reno's use of tainted expert testimony to convict innocent people of child molestation. And she wasn't even running for anything.
