Does anyone remember if John Kennedy had a good senate record?

His record was the pits. He was considered a "do nothing playboy." by his collegues.

I have no idea what JFK accomplished in Congress, but he was first elected to Congress in 1946, serving three terms in the House of Representatives and eight years as a Senator. So his length of service there was considerably longer than Edwards'. Plus JFK was a war hero. I personally prefer a former Governor to Senator/Representative candidates for President, the experience is more applicable. (Of course, there was Jimmy Carter...:-/)
