Tenet, a democrat who led the CIA and was the cause of all the intelligence failures including 9/11 has resigned. He should have resigned 3 years ago. I hope the next CIA Director is a Republican.

This is the same intelligence Clinton received. He passed it onto Bush. The question is how Bush went about addressing it. Clinton addressed it with a different style. Bush came in fell asleep at the wheels and as result he let the terrorist attack come to our shores. Then when they struck, he went about it in a cowboy style. Got mad, no plan whatsoever and just rushed in. The rest we know is history.

<font color=red>He has to take the blame on how he planned the war not who told him what. The question: after the CIA told him what they said, what was his next step. Did he sit around reading the story of the Pet Goat or did he start to leadthe efforts to plan?

Bush is just a victim of bad intelligence just like Kerry, Rockefeller and the rest of them. I posted their 2002 quotes. I find it strange that if you give the same intelligence information to 5 people and all 5 believe what they read that 4 of the 5 are saints and the fifth guy is a liar. That intelligence was the product of a Democrat, everybody's pal, George Tenet.

That's not all. This "half" of the report deals strictly with intelligence failures. The second "half" of the report, not to be done until after the election, will deal with administration manipulation, cherrypicking and pressure on the intelligence services. Democrats on the commission are angry, but agree on this "half". Anyone who has worked in a corporation or large organization knows the guys who get ahead are the ones who align their beliefs and objectives with those of the boss...
