Bush would give his right arm for Edwards or Kerry as a running mate. The panic in the GOP is clear now. How can they dump Cheney without looking desperate? McCain just turned Bush down. Powell probably would too. What else can they do to prop up this statue named Bush with feet of clay? And they are breathing a sigh of relief they delayed all 9-11 Commission criticisms against Bush-Cheney until after the election. Bush let 9-11 happen despite repeated warnings, then sat there doing nothing as the WTC burned. What the hell is this man doing running for re-election? LBJ and Nixon had the decency to bow out.
