I mean SINCE that time. We had not yet invaded Iraq when we took out a few top Al Qaida guys in Pakistan. In fact we were doing a good job back then. All of a sudden though Bush completely took his eye off the Al Qaida ball, as if they stopped mattering. Saddam became everything. Since then Al Qaid ahas grown stronger not weaker.

That was the BIG LIE of this administartion and the reason they must go down. We can excuse Bush for being lax and AWOL on trror prior to 9-11 and even being paralyzed during 9-11 (after all he had zero experience) but to let Al Qaida grow strong while expending our resources against the wrong target and using lies to justify it is inexcuseable. Also, despite the handover, Iraq is just as big a mess as ever. 25 Marines killed and wounded just yesterday but Bush doesn't want us to see that, does he? He just wants to scare us with another non-specific general terrorist warning.
