The economy heated up because the budgets were balanced. Clinton did that by raising taxes before the 1994 election which cost the Dems the House because the GOP lied to the voters and called them big tax and spend types. But in fact GW Bush spends much more and has dropped the value of our dollar by 35% as a result of his tax cuts for the rich, draining our treasury and leaving Kerry a mountain of red ink to deal with.

The short growth spurt during GW's last year was paid for by pure mountainous credit card debt spending. It was completely reckless. Clinton proved when you pay as you go the entire economy does well and America is at its strongest. Bush has weakened us as a nation. WHo's going to pay his debts? Who's going to pay for Bush's programs? Anyone but the rich, say the Bushies. Also unfair and just plain wrong.
