I'd rather have McCain as president then Lieberman. I was just looking for a Dem that I could sort of support. The main thing I disliked about McCain was campaign finance reform. That law has passed anyway and I don't think there would be a large expansion of it if McCain was president.

JF, if there was a McCain/Lieberman ticket, I'd probably vote for it.

By the way, it's funny how the Kerry campaign did their best to try and get McCain on their side, thus once again trying to be the "non-partisan" in their partisan game. Fortunately, McCain politely declined and instead gave permission to the Bush campaign to use him in a campaign ad.
