Bush most definitely was unable and unwilling to play his role as Commander in Chief. He did not read reports. He did not ask questions. And he went along with people around him who were looking for a pretext to invade Iraq, rather than intelligence on whether or not an invasion was necessary and in the best interest of the United States. Did he lie? Sometimes "lying" and incompetence are so similar in appearance that they are hard to distinguish. Either way, he proved himself unfit to lead this country.
