Well i question your characterization of the numbers.

From your documents (1996 dollars):

1981: 1,004.6
1982: 967.4
1983: 898.6
1984: 950.4
1985: 1,012.0

There were two drops: 81-82 and 82-83. We were in a full recovery in '83 yet revenue dropped from the recession year '82.

And 1012 is close enough to 1004.6 to say it took until '85 to recoup 1981 levels.

How is it you argue otherwise?
