Get this through your head: CRIMINALS LIE! IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT RACE OR RELIGION

You're not listening, Sun Tzu. Cobalt Blue is a practicing attorney, and she is speaking from her experience. Her experience with Muslims is different from her experience with non-Muslims, according to what she says. Are you accusing her of making it up? What is your experience, that you contradict her?

How about the Iraqi Information Minister? He's an excellent example of what I am talking about.

"I swear by a million camels, I swear by the virginity of my mother, there are no US Marines in Baghdad!"

I don't go around asking people their religion, but sometimes they make a big deal out of it.

"Come to my house! Eat with my family! You will see that I am telling the truth!"

So, after eating dinner (excellent food!) we go to the living room, I pull out my briefcase, we get ready for trial, and I say, "how about we try to settle this thing?", and the reply is "Allah will provide!"

And I say, "you know, I think Allah does what Allah does, and it's not right to expect that you're going to win because Allah is on your side."

And the answer is, "Allah will provide."

I wouldn't go to someone else's country and tell them I am going to win because God is on my side. I think that's blasphemy.

I say, "God works in mysterious ways. We don't know what God has in mind, we just do our best and hope that things turn out the way we want them to go."

What, a debate about honesty and dishonesty on this board?

I guess poetry is not dead after all.
