But he didn't "make a terrorist threat

and again...

what is the point of a person wearing a mask other than to "terrorize"?? to intimidate?? to instill fear or trepidation...

oh wait...

it's a PRANK...

we all know people wear masks for fun...too bad all the other criminals so attired haven't figured that one out...

I'm not saying he has a right to be in a store or bank or whatever in a ski mask. I'm saying he has a right to only be charged with violating laws that he did commit, and that people don't have a right to shoot him just for entering a place like a store in a ski mask. Could you pull a gun on him? Well I wouldn't condemn you for it, but you can't rightfully just blow him away and the government shouldn't charge him with a crime he didn't commit

have you ever been on the "receiving end" of a gun pointed at you, tim? do you have any clue what it's like to have someone violating your space with an apparent intent to do you harm?

i can assure you, i'm not going to *wait* for the idiot in the mask to pull his weapon on me...

i've said all i'm going to on the subject...

if you feel protecting the right of mask-wearers libertarians in stores, banks, or god knows what else is the latest and best cause celebre for libertarian thought....have at it...

:)

psstt...

btw, in the immediacy of a threat of an intruder wearing a mask (by definition i consider a mask wearing individual an intruder since they are unwilling to "identify" themselves) you don't call the police to "protect" you, for by then it's too late, you call them to clean up the mess.<gg>
