KLP, what I said in my post was that I had seen snippets of the concert. These snippets were broadcast on the Fox Cable Network the morning after the concert. While they did not show Whoopi at work, they did show the musicians whooping it up, the candidates acting like they were attending a love in, Edwards' wife dressed in black trying to look like a teenager in love with her husband and the audience (she's a bit too fat to be sexy), Kerry telling the audience how much he appreciates their great contributions in his efforts to take back the country for the little people, and his conviction that all of them, each of them, demonstrated in their concert the best of America, the heart and soul of America, and his certainty that together they will convince the mass of men and women in small town America that he, Edwards, they (including Whoopi) have the great moral and ethical concerns that will carry the Democrats to certain victory in November. As the Beatles would sing: WHY DON'T WE DO IT IN THE ROAD! Whoopi, Billy Crystal, et al, did it on TV. And I can understand why Kerry and Company, now that they have had a chance to hear from the little people, don't want to release the tapes of the event. They are not only back-pedalling furiously. They are running away from the event in a panic route. But they are not running away from the 7 1/2 million dollars from their big Hollywood buddies.
