I think that is a good observation. It's one thing to have Tenet "take the fall", but it is something else for: -- Congress to absolve itself from blame when what it did was essentially "rubber-stamp" the Administration's proposals and actions -- Absolve (at least for now) the Administration from any real blame when anybody who has been following this at all understands very clearly that the war momentum came from the Administration with supporting bullshit from: * the Office of Special Plans (and behind them.....) * Chalabi and his friends *** Lastly and leastly and most reluctantly the CIA There is still time for someone to take an early retirement, collect his/her pension benefits and then publish the bombshell book in time for early October. Now wouldn't that be nice......? It would probably top up the pension benefits quite a bit as well....... Namaste! Jim
