Mark,

The loss last quarter was not for all Mac development. The loss
occurred because Metrowerks bought out a company who had a product
called Lattitude. This company had technology that helped port Mac
applications to UNIX via an emulator. Metrowerks did this to help
prepare for Rhapsody.

Bad quarter, 6 cents loss. At the same time, the company announces a strategic partnership with Applied Microsystems. In December, there was more money put in Metrowerks by canadian investors, a sort of loan convertible in shares at $14Can, within three years. I wonder what we can make about the perspectives of what seemed a great, very promising company two or three years ago. Any thoughts? Could somebody in the company give us an idea of where they want to go in the next, say, three years?
