Rose, Dubya's just a "dry drunk" .....

..... It seems pretty clear to me. The entire American public, though, is on a "bender" supporting this sociopath.

I got seriously concerned back in 1980 when the U.S. elected Ronald Reagan. It was the first indication to me at least that the intellectual bar for being President of the United States was getting lowered. Dubya is the culmination of this problem.

The American public can blame its leaders for the various insane messes they get us into. The point is, though, that these clowns have to pass muster at the ballot box. We get what we deserve. Unfortunately, the world is, at times, victimized. There is no balance to U.S. power now. The Soviet Union used to keep the U.S. in check. Who can do it now? The terrorists? Oh, God. What has become of us?

I'm reading John Dean's Worse Than Watergate. Very interesting.
